Blessed Wombs Doula Services Refund Policy

Retainer Fee

A non-refundable retainer fee of $50 is required to secure your due date and reserve space on my calendar. This fee covers administrative work, scheduling, and availability and is non-refundable.

Prenatal Services

If services are canceled before any prenatal meetings occur, payments made beyond the retainer may be refunded.

Cancellation by Client

• If a client chooses to discontinue services more than 30 days before their estimated due date, a refund may be issued for any services that have not yet been rendered. Payments for completed services, including prenatal visits, consultations, educational sessions, and the non-refundable retainer, are not eligible for refund.

• Less than 30 days before estimated due date: No refunds will be issued, as availability has been reserved exclusively for your family.

Birth Attendance

Once I have gone on-call for your birth (typically beginning at 38 weeks), no refunds will be issued.

Failure to Attend Birth

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend your birth due to circumstances within my control and no backup doula is available, a refund will be provided for the birth attendance portion of your package. All fees for services already provided, including consultations, prenatal visits, birth planning, on-call support, and the non-refundable retainer, are considered earned and are not eligible for refund.

Special Circumstances

I understand that unexpected situations may arise. Refund requests due to medical emergencies, pregnancy loss, or other extraordinary circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with compassion and care.
